Jakarta, September 18, 2026 – PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney, Indonesia’s state-owned holding company in the aviation and tourism sector, has once again been named among the prestigious FORTUNE Indonesia 100, Fortune Indonesia’s list of the 100 largest companies in Indonesia.
InJourney also received the “Fastest Growing by Growth in Profit” Special Award from Fortune Indonesia, recognizing the Company’s strong profit growth for the 2025 financial year. The achievement reflects both InJourney’s business scale and its significant improvement in profitability amid various challenges throughout 2025.
“This recognition reflects the consistency of the transformation that InJourney has continued to pursue. What must be emphasized, however, is that our business transformation is not solely aimed at driving growth and achieving stronger financial performance. It is also about building an aviation and tourism ecosystem that is increasingly integrated, competitive, and capable of creating sustainable value for Indonesia,” said Maya Watono, President Director of InJourney.
Over the past four years, InJourney’s business transformation has strengthened the Company’s position, shifting it from a business with relatively low profitability and high leverage into one with stronger earnings performance and greater value creation for the economy. InJourney’s business strategy has also been designed to reinforce the Company’s fundamentals while supporting sustainable long-term growth.
InJourney’s 2025 performance demonstrated stronger profitability and an improved financial structure. This performance was supported by the implementation of effective business strategies, the execution of transformative corporate actions, and disciplined risk management.
As a result, InJourney recorded revenue of IDR 35.0 trillion, EBITDA of IDR 15.4 trillion, and net profit of IDR 6.8 trillion, representing 218.1% of its target and year-on-year growth of 171.8%. InJourney also received an idAAA rating with a Stable Outlook from PEFINDO.
Throughout 2025, InJourney continued to transform and develop its assets across various segments of the aviation and tourism ecosystem in an integrated manner, as part of its efforts to create higher-quality destinations and travel experiences. The transformation has been fundamental in nature and has gone beyond improving infrastructure quality to include optimizing asset utilization, strengthening commercial value, and creating more relevant experiences for tourists and service users.
The transformation included the revitalization of airport facilities and passenger experience; the transformation of Borobudur through the development of the surrounding tourism area and supporting infrastructure; the development of a health and wellness tourism destination within the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ); and the enhancement of attractions, amenities, and public facilities at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
In the retail segment, the expansion of Sarinah’s network across airports has further strengthened the presence of Indonesian products and brands throughout the traveler journey, while also integrating the creative economy and MSMEs more closely with the aviation and tourism ecosystem. These initiatives reflect InJourney’s focus on enhancing service quality, visitor experience, the commercial value of its assets, and the overall integration of the aviation and tourism ecosystem.
“InJourney’s profit growth is the result of our efforts to maintain a balance between business acceleration, greater efficiency, stronger financial fundamentals, and disciplined risk management. Going forward, we will continue to ensure that every step of our growth is carried out prudently and in a measured manner, so that it strengthens the Company’s financial health while creating long-term value for all stakeholders,” said Yudi Rizkyardie Darun, Director of Finance and Risk Management of InJourney.
